Network Design & Implementation
Architectures built for speed, segmentation and growth.
New site, campus refresh or consolidation — we design networks that are resilient, segmented and ready for Wi-Fi 7, SD-WAN and Zero Trust access, then deliver them without taking production down.
Overview
Why it matters.
Good network design is mostly about the decisions you don’t see: where failure domains end, how traffic is segmented, how a site grows from 50 to 500 users without a forklift upgrade.
We document those decisions in a high-level and low-level design you can hand to any engineer, then implement in staged, reversible changes with validation tests at every step.

What’s included
What we deliver.
- 01
Discovery and requirements
Workshops on applications, growth, compliance and risk, plus an audit of what is already in place.
- 02
HLD and LLD
Diagrams, IP plans, VLAN and VRF design, bills of materials and the reasoning behind each choice.
- 03
Switching and routing
Core, distribution and access layers, dynamic routing and first-hop redundancy.
- 04
QoS and resilience
Traffic classes for voice, video and critical apps; redundant paths with tested failover.
- 05
Staged migration
Cutover runbooks, maintenance windows and rollback plans that protect production traffic.
- 06
As-built handover
Updated diagrams, configs and knowledge transfer so your team owns what we built.
Warning signs
You probably need this if…
- You are opening, moving or merging sites
- A flat network with one big VLAN
- Core switches near end of support
- Growth is planned but the network wasn’t
Engagement
How a project runs.
- 01
Assess
Inventory, traffic patterns, risks and success measures across LAN, WAN, wireless and cloud.
- 02
Design
Target architecture, security baseline, bill of materials and a staged migration plan.
- 03
Implement
Change-controlled cutovers, validation tests and as-built documentation.
- 04
Operate
Monitoring, patching, capacity reviews and continuous hardening — or a clean handover.
Questions
Common questions.
- Are you tied to a hardware vendor?
- No. We recommend platforms based on your requirements, existing skills and budget, and we’re happy to design around equipment you already own.
- Can you work with our existing contractors?
- Yes. We often provide design and technical authority while another firm handles installation, or the reverse.
- How do you avoid downtime during cutovers?
- Changes are staged, pre-tested in the new environment and scheduled in agreed windows, each with a written rollback step.
